ASIC Design within the Pixel Platform
Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) play a central role in modern detector systems, providing dedicated functionality for signal processing, readout, power management, and communication. Within the Pixel Platform, ASIC design activities support the development of future low-mass, high-performance detector concepts for particle physics applications.
This includes work related to custom front-end architectures, powering concepts such as shunt-LDO-based regulation, high-speed data transmission, and the integration of analog and digital functions in advanced CMOS technologies.
The page will soon present more information on ongoing developments, design studies, collaborations, and prototype activities related to ASICs for next-generation tracking detectors.
